The members of Exodus have stated that a follow-up to Goliath is in the works, with Holt revealing as early as March 2025 that, “We’ll keep [the second new album] in the can, ready to go, and won’t have any downtime. We’re not getting any younger. We might as well work a little extra hard now while we can.” That fall, he confirmed that they have 80 percent of the new material done, and in February 2026, he revealed that during the making of Goliath , “Our goal was to finish this in the follow-up album all at once, and we came, like, two songs shy for the next album. We have eight in the can.”
