In March 2025, three members of the band were, upon arrival at LAX , denied entry into the United States, subsequently detained and deported back to the UK. Bass player Alvin Gibbs said of the incident: “While I never expected to be thrown out of America at the age of 67, I find myself somewhat proud of the fact.” Singer Charlie Harper did get into the country and played a festival in Los Angeles with three guest musicians filling in.
