inducted into ARIA Hall of Fame

In October 2007 Cave was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame and, in his acceptance speech, also inducted the members of The Bad Seeds and The Birthday Party, after explaining, “I cannot really accept this until we get a few things straight. What I can’t figure out is why I am up here and The Bad Seeds aren’t?”
