On 27 June 2025, a “lost” Motörhead album titled The Manticore Tapes was released. It is a compilation of tracks that were recorded in August 1976 at Emerson, Lake & Palmer ‘s Manticore Studios in Fulham , representing the first recorded material from the line-up of Lemmy, Taylor and Clarke.

Former Motörhead guitarist “Fast” Eddie Clarke died on 10 January 2018 after a battle with pneumonia at the age of 67, making him the last member of the band’s classic line-up (following Taylor and Lemmy) to die.
