In 2018, Mason formed a new band, Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets , to perform Pink Floyd’s early material. It includes Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet and the longtime Pink Floyd collaborator Guy Pratt .
Mason said in 2018 that, while he remained close to Gilmour and Waters, the two remained “at loggerheads”.
