A new official Mansun website was launched in January 2017, honouring the band’s back catalogue and legacy.
The band’s seventh album Forever was released in mid-2017.
At the end of 2017, Michael Thomas was replaced by Jason Bowld full-time.
the third and final single, “We Stay Together” was released on 9 December 2016.
On 8 December 2016 “Family Man”, “How Was Your Ride?” and “Sorrys”, the second, third and fifth songs from the album, were released.
On 7 December 2016, founding King Crimson member Greg Lake died of cancer.
the live album, Live at the Royal Albert Hall , was released on 2 December 2016 through the crowdfunding platform PledgeMusic on CD, DVD, and vinyl, with all proceeds donated to Teenage Cancer Trust .
The band released Blue & Lonesome on 2 December 2016.
