In 2002, the band was featured with D.R.I and The Eight Bucks Experiment on a seven-inch compilation record called F*#k You Punks vol.3 , with an anti-terrorist song called “Terrorista”.

Elbow (band) Performed at Glastonbury

The title of the album is a reference to their performance at the 2002 Glastonbury Festival , where they recorded the audience singing, “We still believe in love, so fuck you”.

To combat bootlegging , in 2002 the band began to release the Encore Series of official soundboard recordings via themusic.com. An official statement read: “to satisfy this demand they have agreed to release their own official recordings to benefit worthy causes”.

Despite their youth , with Henderson and Tom both being sixteen at the time, the band were signed to a recording contract with Warner Bros. Records UK in 2002.
