In 2022 the group did a small west coast tour along with playing at some European festivals. By December 2022, Life of Agony had begun working on new material for the follow-up to The Sound of Scars . The band also celebrated the 30th anniversary of their first album River Runs Red in 2023 with a world tour, the European leg went of the tour went from January to February of 2023 with support from Prong and Madball . They also embarked on a separate co headlining tour with Sick of it All in April, before embarking on the US leg of the River Runs Red 30th Anniversary tour in August.
