In an interview with Dan Rather which aired on AXS TV on 10 May 2024, Starr said that “we didn’t get along, we were four guys, we had rows,” noting that their relationship was getting more tense even by the time he had children. Nevertheless, according to Starr, the band lasted as long as it did due to their music ambitions.
