April 2023, and Ulrich was over on the Loudwire Nights radio program talking about how Metallica could probably start working on the follow-up to 72 Seasons , and that he was really looking forward to getting back out on stage and performing live for the next year or so. He had this great line about James coming up with more riffs when he’s just tuning his guitar than most people come up with in a whole lifetime – that’s the magic of being in a band with these guys!
