River Runs Red was followed by the more emotional Ugly album in 1995. It was produced by Steve Thompson , who would become a Grammy winner in later years. The album peaked at No. 153 on the Billboard 200, the band’s first appearance on a Billboard chart. “Lost At 22” and “Let’s Pretend” were both released as singles, but did not chart. Following the release of Ugly, Life of Agony began touring alongside Anthrax and Deftones before embarking on an US arena tour with Ozzy Osbourne and Korn.
