On 6 April 2019, it was announced at a press conference that Rieflin would take another break from King Crimson to attend to family matters; his place on keyboards for the 2019 50th anniversary tour was set to be taken by Theo Travis of Soft Machine , an occasional duo collaborator with Fripp.
