Pop Will Eat Itself released three albums on RCA. The first two ( This Is the Day…This Is the Hour…This Is This! and Cure for Sanity ) were recorded with the aid of Flood , known for his work with Nine Inch Nails , U2 and Depeche Mode . The band toured extensively in the UK, continental Europe and the United States, including appearances at the Reading Festival . Their singles charted progressively higher, with each release charting inside the UK Top 40 from 1990 to 1994.
