In July 2022, Blue October released the single “Spinning the Truth Around” via Up/Down Records. The follow-up single “Where Did You Go? I’m Less of a Mess These Days” reached the Top 20 on the alternative rock chart . The band’s eleventh and twelfth studio albums, Spinning the Truth Around Part I and Spinning the Truth Around Part II , were released a year apart on October 14, 2022, and October 13, 2023, respectively. The first single from Part II, “Down Here Waiting” made its radio debut in June 2023, and became the band’s nineteenth song to reach the Top 40 (spending six months on the charts).
