In 2024, BRMC recorded a cover version of the traditional American folk song God’s Gonna Cut You Down , which was used in episode 2 of the Netflix miniseries A Man In Full . In July 2025, the band issued a “cease and desist” request, via a post on their Instagram page, to the Trump administration ‘s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) alleging unauthorized use of their recording of the song in a recruitment video.
