On April 2, 2002, the Opie and Anthony Show began airing songs from Untouchables . After playing a few songs, the broadcasters received a cease-and-desist letter from Sony Music Entertainment . Opie and Anthony said “The reason for the premature premiere was to infuriate a rival New York station, which disallows their in-studio guests to appear on ‘The Opie and Anthony Show.’”
