In an interview with Noizr Zine, taken on 14 September 2017, Children of Bodom’s keyboardist Janne Wirman answering to the question about the band’s plans to start working on a new album with “the same production team” (Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila) after the ’20 Years Down & Dirty’ tour ended, said the following: “Yes, I think we are. And we’re going to record it in our warehouse.”
