In January 2012, Byrne began winding down his solo work, and plans were made to revive I Mother Earth, with members from Byrne’s time with the band. During this period, the Tanna brothers and Byrne lived in Peterborough, Ontario, while Gordon continued to work full-time with the Blue Man Group production in Orlando, Florida.
