The band’s popularity reached the attention of other artists. In March 2008, the band announced they planned to write a track for Leona Lewis ‘s second album, Echo , but in 2010, Sheehan revealed that they had “missed the mark” on the album’s release date and that they submitted their song too late. While Sheehan believed Lewis’s record company loved their song, he said, he felt “they thought it was a little dark for her”.
