As he grew older, Cook lost interest in creating music and focused on DJ performances, which he said he still had “100% passion for”. He said in 2025: “If I did make a new record then it would be a very average record. I prefer not to waste mine or other people’s time with that. I feel like I’ve made enough records and there’s a body of work there that’s good enough.”
