The song was released with the tag, “produced by WZRD”, which confirms the guitars and drums in this track are most likely played by Cudi and Dot. Cudi later revealed the track is for his EP Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon , which would feature more production from WZRD. On September 4, 2013, King Chip released his 44108 mixtape, which included the song “Vortex”, featuring Kid Cudi and Pusha T ; WZRD were credited as the song’s producers.
