Their resulting record, Screaming for Vengeance , was released on 1 July 1982. Charting in nine countries, it peaked at number 11 in the UK and number 17 in the US . The latter contained their most popular track of their discography, ” You’ve Got Another Thing Comin ‘ “, which ultimately gained heavy rotation across multiple radio stations in North America. The song charted at number 67 on the US Billboard Hot 100 , the band’s only song to chart towards crossover pop airplay and sales. It charted at number four on its Mainstream Rock chart position at that region. “(Take These) Chains” was also released as a single, but did not chart.
