In an interview with Loudwire on October 20, 2019, bassist Ben Kenney confirmed the band had completely finished four new songs and were working on more, but didn’t confirm whether these songs would be released in the form of a new studio album or if they would be released as individual songs. On the matter he said “We don’t want to get stacked up in a studio making an album. We have to adapt our process ’cause the albums themselves don’t actually make as big a splash as they used to. We’re just trying to experiment and explore what we’re capable of doing, and all the while not take ourselves too seriously and just really enjoy what we get to do.”
