While promoting his third solo album, Thrasher , in August 2026, Brandon Flowers confirmed that the four core members of the band were working a new album with producers Ariel Rechtshaid , Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado : “It’s not in the can, but the guys have been really great and accommodating about coming to Salt Lake to write and get demos going. […] We’re just going to keep chipping away. It’s the full band, and we’ve been working with Ariel Rechtshaid, Shawn and Rado. The band have got some time off for good behaviour, but we meet every now and again to see if we’ve got anything left in the tank.”
