For about a year he kept the project a secret until February 18, 2014, when the first single ” I Wanna Get Better ” was released along with the launch of Bleachers’ website, social media profiles, and a selection of tour dates.
“Fake Your Death” was made available digitally on February 17.
They met their goal in just over a week, and the album, titled Kudos to You! , was released on February 14, 2014. The band also released their first full live album, Thanks for the Feedback , at the same time.
On 11 February 2014, the band released a remastered deluxe edition of their 1996 album Slang after much delay. The album, still coveted by many loyal fans of the band, now features 30 tracks including demos, B-sides, and unreleased material.
It aired on 9 February, the exact date of – and at the same time and on the same network as – the original broadcast of the Beatles’ first US television appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show , 50 years earlier.

On 4 February 2014 Bastille won the BRIT Award for Best Breakthrough Act and performed a remixed version of “Pompeii” with Rudimental and their song ” Waiting All Night ” at the ceremony .
