In early 1989 the band switched record labels. The success of Built To Last on Straight-On led to a record deal with New Red Archives ( UK Subs , Kraut , Reagan Youth ), who immediately reissued the band’s debut album, Built To Last , on multiple formats in 1989.
Later that year, together with Andreas “Fratz” Thum, WIZO founded their own label, Hulk Räckorz [ de ] and released the EP Klebstoff (“Glue”), their first vinyl record , which was recorded in 1989 in a basement studio in Stuttgart .
Some of their live tracks were released by Link Records on the 1989 record, “Send in the Marines”.
