In 2024, long time drummer Rampy left the band and was replaced by Danny Walker.
With the blessing of Mark (Marcus) Howells’ daughter and brother, Foreign Legion continued in 2024, with guitarist Simon Bendon taking over on lead vocals.
2024 performances with this new line up began with support slots for The Professionals and Cockney Rejects together with a performance at Punk on the Peninsula festival in Scotland.
After not playing any live shows in 2024, the band played a special 25th anniversary show in Brooklyn New York. They also played at Tied Down Fest in Detroit in 2025.

In support of the Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs , Alkaline Trio embarked on multiple headlining tours with support from Drug Church , Worriers, Spanish Love Songs , and Slomosa, while also supporting Dropkick Murphys on their 2024 Australian tour.
On January 1, 2024, the band announced on their social media they “are looking forward to playing together in 2024, for the first time in 8 years”.
Later that year, the band also released a joint single “The Sacrifice / At Sickness.” The band initially recorded the songs in the same sessions for Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs , but cut them from the final track list for time reasons.
In 2024, Radio Birdman toured Australia to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The tour culminated with a Sydney concert.
