On December 8, 2013, Andy Hull announced in a video interview with Matt Pinfield that their fourth studio album would be titled Cope , and was slated for release on April 1, 2014.
The band also gained support slots on various dates of Biffy Clyro ‘s European tour in December 2013.
A physical edition with additional tracks was released on November 25.
Rhythm guitarist Frank Iero sporadically collaborated with My Chemical Romance keyboardist James Dewees , forming Death Spells and performing in Reggie and the Full Effect (alongside Ray Toro), releasing No Country for Old Musicians on November 19, 2013.
” Right Back at It Again ” was issued to radio stations as the album’s lead single on November 11.
Harding’s first show with the band was on November 8, 2013.
On November 4, 2013, Ryan Harding was announced as the new drummer.
A music video for the single “Resolve” was released on 31 October 2013. It was filmed in Ayr and directed by the band’s drummer, Daryl Atkins.
On October 28, 2013, the band released their first new music since 2011, “After the Scripture”, a song featured on the soundtrack of the movie Dallas Buyers Club .
It was also stated that the band has re–recorded Page Avenue , entitled Page Avenue: Ten Years and Counting with release date on October 8, 2013.
