In May, Erna announced that the album would be titled 1000hp (1000 Horsepower).
On 29 April 2014, Bryan Wickmann was announced as the new touring guitarist. Wickmann was the band’s long-time guitar tech, as well as Isolate and Medicate’ s cover art creator, and a former art director of Schecter Guitar Research .
The lead single from the album, ” Walk Me to the Bridge “, was released as a digital download on the day of the announcement, on 28 April.
