During Bring Me the Horizon’s Malta event on 26 May, the band showcased their latest single ” Strangers ” for the first time at their DJ set.
The national 30th L’Anniversary Tour saw the band play 19 concerts across Japan from September 5 to December 26. The tour’s two final concerts were held at the Tokyo Dome on May 21 and 22, 2022.
On May 18, 2022, the band released L’Album Complete Box -Remastered Edition- , a compilation box containing remastered versions of all their albums from 1994 to 2012.
On May 10, it was announced that the band would headline the Austin City Limits Festival in Austin, Texas , during October on the 9th and 16th of the same year, alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers , Pink and Lil Nas X .

In 2008, Automatics released “Jukebox of Human Sorrow” which is available for download from iTunes. In May 2022, the band reached the Top 10 of Mike Read’s Heritage Chart with “Cold Steel Serenade”, in a chart which also featured The Vapors and The Boys.
Support continued when the band announced the graphic novel, Lifeform: Vivian , which will explore the character on the album’s cover. The novel was announced on April 21, 2022, with a planned release of fall that same year.
On 21 April, the band were featured on Norwegian singer Sigrid ‘s single ” Bad Life ” from her album How to Let Go .
On 20 April 2022 the band released the single “Heart Attack”,
and announced the addition of Benjamin John Power , who had previously worked with the band on the Violence album, as an official band member.
