In June 2021, the tour with Bad Religion was rescheduled with the first show taking place in Riverside, California , on October 15, 2021.
On May 17, 2021, Green Day released the single “Pollyanna”.
On May 4, 2021, the band put out a single called “Baby Doncha Know” and announced their eighth album that would be released on July 23 titled 9th & Walnut , named after the intersection in Long Beach, California , where their first rehearsal space was located.
The band shared their new single “Getting Old Sucks (But Everybody’s Doing It)” in May 2021. Later that year, in November, they released another song “Killin’ ‘Em With Kindness”.
In April 2021, the band announced a new EP entitled The Back Nine . The following month, they announced an album entitled Ollie Ollie Oxen Free , which was released on June 18, 2021.

After several delays, A Day to Remember released their seventh full-length album, You’re Welcome , on March 5, 2021, through Fueled by Ramen . The album spawned the singles “Degenerates”, “Resentment”, “Mindreader”, “Brick Wall”, “Everything We Need” and “Re-Entry”.
On 2 March 2021, Short Stack released their first song in six years, “Burn You Down” with new recording label UNFD .
