During a Stanley Cup party hosted by Vinnie Paul, the Stanley Cup was damaged when Guy Carbonneau attempted to throw the cup from the balcony of Vinnie Paul’s house into his pool. The Cup landed short on the concrete deck and had to be repaired by NHL commissioned silversmiths.
