At the end of July 2025, Sawa was announced as the bassist of the rock band First Contact, led by Blood Stain Child guitarist Ryu.

On 4 April, the band announced a fullscale European headline tour, starting in Manchester , England on 22 November, that culminated in Frankfurt , Germany on 13 December.
On 27 March, the band released the music video for “Incomplete” and simultaneously announced dates in Germany for August 2025, including festival appearances at Summer Breeze , Open Flair, and Reload.
