On June 26, 2012, STP released its first-ever concert film , Alive in the Windy City, on DVD and Blu-ray.
The next year, they toured with Poison and Lita Ford from 20 June through 15 September, dubbed the “Rock Of Ages 2012 Tour”.
On 11 June 2012, Skunk Anansie revealed the title for their 5th studio album: Black Traffic . The band’s follow-up to 2010’s critically acclaimed Wonderlustre was recorded in London and produced by Skunk Anansie and Chris Sheldon and mixed by Jeremy Wheatley and Adrian Bushby.
The first four songs from La Futura debuted on June 5, 2012, on an EP called Texicali .
June 1, the latter being for the group’s fan club members only.
In June, they performed at the Download Festival at the Donington Park motorsports circuit in Leicestershire, England, followed by the last concert of the short tour at Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago.
Later that month, the band started recording an album.
A career-spanning box-set titled Strange Euphoria was released in June 2012, containing many of the band’s biggest hits, unreleased demos and rare live cuts.
That June, the band appeared at Download Festival in Donington, England.
