The band booked small clubs for their 2004 tour, but growing interest forced many venue changes, far beyond the band’s expectations, and the tour continued into mid-2005 throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, the SummerSonic Festival in Japan, and the Hillside Festival in Guelph .
However, a message posted on July 20, 2004, on their official website said they were continuing to record and the band was still together. But on September 1, 2005, Nori said in an interview:

The band began writing more songs and performing them, getting ready for the next round of recording. They played at EdgeFest in 2004,(including EdgeFest), and they spent two weeks playing Australia in late 2005 with The Presidents of the United States of America .
On their 2004 album, the Dayglos showed a new-found political awareness. Holy Shiite has song titles such as “America Eats Her Young,” “Christina Bin Laden,” “Scientology,” and “Where’s Bin Laden?”.
