During 2007, Mudhoney played in Brazil again and went on a brief European tour. In November that year, the band released a live album entitled Live Mud , containing songs recorded at a concert in Mexico.
They embarked on tours of the UK in late 2007 and early 2008 in support of the album.
The band recruited Lawrence Hearn AKA “Daggrr” (live guitarist for Back Ted N-Ted & principle songwriter for The Broadcast Royalties) in 2007 to play rhythm guitar for several shows
followed by the full version of MTV Unplugged in New York on DVD in 2007.
They were also recognized in Rolling Stone magazine as Artists to Watch in 2007.
On June 5, 2007, Sister Hazel released a “hybrid” album, BAM! Volume 1 . It contains B-sides from the Absolutely recording sessions and some from previous albums. Sister Hazel also released a holiday album called Santa’s Playlist on September 25, 2007.
