In April 2025, vocalist Jami Morgan announced that the band is on hiatus, describing them as being “on the shelf”. Morgan cited Landolina’s health issues, as well as the pursuit of other projects by himself, Balderose and Meyers as the main reasons for the band’s hiatus.
On December 11, 2023, Pop Evil posted a letter from Hayley Cramer to their Facebook page announcing her departure, citing her desire to branch out and find new paths and adventures. Cramer was later replaced with drummer Blake Allison. The band released the album, What Remains , in April 2025.
