On November, Dave Roden, a sound engineer for the band, spoke publicly about the show. He claimed they had expected guidance from local authorities, or the police around the event, and that as the Welsh Government had stated that “cancelling mass gatherings was not required”, the band decided to go ahead. In March 2024 the shows were highlighted during the UK COVID-19 Inquiry , with Baroness Hallett , who was leading the enquiry, stating that “You allow the mass event to go ahead, it gives the public the impression everything is fine.”
