On 5 July 2011, Gotye released a film clip for the song “Somebody That I Used to Know” on YouTube and Vimeo. Directed by Natasha Pincus, the video has now been viewed over 2.4 billion times (as of April 2025 ). On 6 October 2011, the video was awarded the Melbourne Design Award.
