However, those plans were disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic . During its early stages, the members worked remotely on Bedroom Joule , their first concept album. The album was released digitally in June and physically on August 26, 2020. It consisted largely of lo-fi rearrangements of earlier songs and included a new song, “rooftop”. The album’s production was conducted through online discussions and remote recording, and a part of its proceeds was donated to the Japanese Red Cross Society ‘s response to the pandemic. The band also streamed the audience-free concert “Party in ur Bedroom” on June 20 and 21 on the eplus site.
