Starrrrrrr/Namidaga Koboresou single release

In January 2013, the band released the double-A side single “Starrrrrrr” / “Namidaga Koboresou”, followed by ” Forever Young ” in April. The music video for “Forever Young” attracted controversy because of its close similarities to the video for Australian band Clubfeet’s “Everything You Wanted”, particularly its use of the members walking through and interacting with freeze-frame images of themselves. Clubfeet and the video’s production company, Oh Yeah Wow, publicly accused the “Forever Young” video of copying their work. [Champagne] and UK Project subsequently apologized, removed the video from YouTube and announced that it would no longer be used. Although UK Project initially accepted responsibility for the video’s production, the band members acknowledged that they had appeared in and approved the finished video and stated that it deserved the criticism it had received.
