Following the release of Legless Bull , Government Issue underwent a series of lineup changes. Tom Lyle filled in on bass for one show while Baker went to see Fear play Saturday Night Live on October 31st, 1981. Government Issue’s next show, in November of that year on a bill with T.S.O.L. at the 9:30 Club , was Baker’s last as bassist.
