Following the WZRD’ s release on February 28, the album debuted at No. 3 on the US Billboard 200 chart, with first-week sales of 66,000 physical and digital copies in the United States. The album also debuted on both the Top Rock Albums and Top Alternative Albums at number one, and at No. 9 on the Canadian Albums Chart , respectively. The album was the first project released under Kid Cudi’s label Wicked Awesome Records .
