Later on, in September 2012, Coldplay put on the closing ceremony for the London 2012 Paralympic Games on the 9th – where they performed alongside artists like Rihanna, Jay-Z and a bunch of others. As a special celebration of their performance, the band let bands who were taking part in the Bandstand Marathon have a go at playing their hit 2008 single ” Viva La Vida ” to mark the end of the games.
