Taproot released their major-label debut album, Gift , on June 27, 2000, through Atlantic Records. The lead single, ” Again & Again “, gained heavy exposure through MTV2 . It was the band’s first charting single, peaking at No. 39 on Billboard ‘ s Mainstream Rock chart. It also charted at No. 95 on the UK Singles Chart .
